You will work daytime hours in a structured workshop, on a fleet of utility and heavy-duty vehicles, using recent electronic diagnostic tools.
The client is an industrial company specializing in the processing and preservation of meat products. It has its own vehicle maintenance department to ensure business continuity and reliable deliveries.
This full-time temporary position has an initial duration of 18 months and starts on 3 October 2026. Compensation and any benefits will be specified during interviews, based on your experience and the company’s practices.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to fleet availability and driver safety.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility and heavy-duty vehicles, in accordance with safety standards and internal procedures.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
- Work on braking, suspension and hydraulic systems, as well as engine components and auxiliary equipment, ensuring vehicles are reliably returned to service.
- Help track interventions and record operations in the designated tools, in coordination with your manager and the maintenance team.
Requirements
This position is for a professional seeking a long-term assignment in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics in a demanding industrial environment. You enjoy teamwork while being able to manage your work independently, with a constant focus on safety and quality.
- Hold a qualification below the baccalaureate level in a technical field, or have equivalent experience in industrial or utility vehicle mechanics.
- Initial experience in a similar position is an asset.
- A category B driving licence may be an advantage for moving some vehicles on site, but is not an eliminatory condition.

- Work as part of a team while remaining autonomous, and keep your composure in urgent situations.
