Automotive Mechanic

About the role

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a company specializing in the sale of automotive equipment, for two Automotive Mechanics (M/F) for a temporary assignment on day shifts in COSNES ET ROMAIN. This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in a workshop, within an organization known for its quality and service standards. You will work in an organized professional environment, with structured working methods and on-site supervision.

In your day-to-day work, you will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance.

This temporary, full-time position has day-shift hours, an initial duration of 3 months, and a planned start date of 12 October 2026. The site is located in COSNES ET ROMAIN (54400), in an easily accessible business area. Remuneration will be discussed with Adecco in line with your background and the applicable pay scale.

This temporary, full-time position is ideal for consolidating your experience in automotive mechanics within a professional and organized organization.

Responsibilities

• Mount, remove and balance tires for passenger vehicles, utility vehicles or heavy goods vehicles.
• Carry out the necessary visual inspections and checks before and after work.
• Perform basic maintenance operations in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep your workstation and the workshop clean and organized, in compliance with hygiene, safety and quality rules.

Requirements

This role is intended for someone who wants to put their automotive mechanics training to use and develop their workshop experience. You value thorough work, following procedures and interacting with a demanding clientele, and are comfortable in a dynamic environment where priorities may change quickly. Previous experience is an asset in becoming operational quickly.

You have a CAP or BEP in automotive mechanics or vehicle maintenance, and already have a command of the basics of routine maintenance. You can follow technical instructions, apply procedures and coordinate your work with a team. A Class B driving licence is essential for this position, given that vehicles may need to be moved.

• You use workshop tools and equipment in accordance with safety rules and expected quality standards.
