Automotive Mechanic

About the role

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a company specializing in the sale of automotive equipment, for two Automotive Mechanics (H/F) on a temporary assignment, working daytime hours in COSNES ET ROMAIN. This role is an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a workshop, within an organization known for its high standards of quality and service.

This company in the automotive sector is distinguished by its customer focus, sense of service, and attention to the safety of its work. Your day-to-day role is to carry out routine vehicle maintenance.

This full-time temporary assignment is scheduled for daytime hours, for an initial period of 3 months, with a planned start date of 12 octobre 2026. The role is intended for someone who wants to put their automotive mechanics training to use and develop their workshop experience.

This full-time temporary role is an opportunity to consolidate experience in automotive mechanics within a professional and organized organization.

Responsibilities

• Mount, remove, and balance tires on passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, or heavy goods vehicles.
• Perform the visual inspections and checks required before and after work.
• Carry out basic maintenance operations in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep your workstation and the workshop clean and organized, in compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality rules.

Requirements

• Hold a CAP or BEP in automotive mechanics or vehicle maintenance.
• Already know the basics of routine maintenance.
• Be able to follow technical instructions, apply procedures, and coordinate with a team.
• Have a category B driving licence, which is essential given that vehicles may need to be moved.
• Be punctual and organized, and able to adapt to busy periods and the day's priorities.
