About the role

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of a client specializing in the automotive equipment trade for two Automotive Mechanics (M/F), for a temporary assignment during daytime hours in COSNES ET ROMAIN. This position is an opportunity to put your technical skills into practice in a workshop, within an organization recognized for its high standards of quality and service.

The position is temporary and full-time, with daytime hours, for an initial period of 3 months, with a planned start date of 12 October 2026. The site is located in COSNES ET ROMAIN (54400), in an easily accessible business area. Compensation will be discussed with Adecco in line with your experience and the applicable pay scale.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance.
• Mount, remove, and balance tires on passenger vehicles, utility vehicles, or heavy goods vehicles.
• Perform the necessary visual inspections and checks before and after work.
• Carry out basic maintenance operations in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep your workstation and the workshop clean and organized, in accordance with hygiene, safety, and quality rules.

Requirements

• This position is for someone who wants to apply their automotive mechanics training and develop their workshop experience.
• You value careful work, compliance with procedures, and contact with demanding customers, and are comfortable in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Previous experience is an asset in becoming operational quickly.
• You hold a CAP or BEP in automotive mechanics or vehicle maintenance, and already have a good grasp of routine maintenance.
• You can follow technical instructions, apply procedures, and coordinate your work with a team.
• A category B driving licence is essential for this position, given the possible movement of vehicles.
• You are rigorous and conscientious in all your work, with a constant focus on safety.
• You enjoy teamwork and can communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• You are punctual, organized, and able to adapt to busy periods and the day's priorities.
• You are proficient in tire fitting, removal, and maintenance, as well as basic balancing operations.
• You apply routine maintenance procedures and manufacturer instructions accurately and methodically.
• You use workshop tools and equipment while following safety rules and expected quality standards.
