Automotive Mechanic

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, which specializes in the sale of automotive equipment, for two Automotive Mechanics (H/F) for a daytime temporary assignment in COSNES ET ROMAIN. This position is an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a workshop, within an organization recognized for its high standards of quality and service.

About the role

Your day-to-day role is to perform routine vehicle maintenance. This is a full-time temporary position with daytime hours, for an initial duration of 3 months, with a start date planned for 12 October 2026. The position is suited to someone looking to put their automotive mechanics training to use and develop their workshop experience.

Responsibilities

• Mount, remove and balance tires on passenger vehicles, utility vehicles or heavy goods vehicles.
• Carry out the visual inspections and checks required before and after work.
• Perform basic maintenance operations in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep your workstation and the workshop clean and organized, in compliance with hygiene, safety and quality rules.

Requirements

• Hold a CAP or BEP in automotive mechanics or vehicle maintenance, and already know the basics of routine maintenance.
• Be able to follow technical instructions, apply procedures and work in coordination with a team.
• A category B driving licence is essential, given the possibility of moving vehicles.
• Be punctual, organized and able to adapt to busy periods and the day's priorities.
