Heavy-Duty Vehicle and/or Bus Mechanic

About the role

Adecco Laval is looking for a future mechanic for its client, which specializes in passenger transport and mobility in Mayenne. The objective of the assignment is to maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment. In your day-to-day work, you will contribute directly to the safety and availability of the vehicle fleet.

Contract: Permanent contract (CDI).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles in compliance with safety rules.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical or electronic faults on passenger transport vehicles and fixed equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock and take part in preparing vehicles for MINES inspections.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic components on rolling or fixed equipment.
• Listen to drivers and operations teams to identify their needs and carry out any necessary minor work.
• Communicate with various contacts and pass on relevant information to your supervisor.

Requirements

Beyond your technical skills, we are looking for someone reliable, committed and attentive to safety.

Training and experience

• CAP/BEP or vocational baccalaureate in mechanics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical and mechanical environment is preferred.
