Automotive Service Mechanic

About the role

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of a client specializing in the sale of automotive equipment for two Automotive Mechanics (H/F), for a temporary, daytime assignment in COSNES ET ROMAIN. This role is an opportunity to put your technical skills into practice in a workshop, within an organization recognized for its high standards of quality and service.

This company in the automotive sector stands out for its customer focus, service orientation and attention to the safety of its work. On a day-to-day basis, your role is to carry out routine vehicle maintenance. The position is full-time, with daytime hours, for an initial period of 3 months, with a planned start date of 12 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Mount, remove and balance tires for passenger vehicles, utility vehicles or heavy goods vehicles.
• Carry out the necessary visual inspections and checks before and after work.
• Perform basic maintenance operations in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Keep your workstation and the workshop clean and organized, in accordance with hygiene, safety and quality rules.

Requirements

This role is for someone who wants to apply their automotive mechanics training and develop their workshop experience. You hold a CAP or BEP in automotive mechanics or vehicle maintenance, and already have a good command of the basics of routine maintenance. You can follow technical instructions, apply procedures and coordinate your work with a team. A category B driving licence is essential for this role, given the possibility of moving vehicles.

You are punctual, organized and able to adapt to peaks in activity and the day's priorities.
