About the role
Automotive service mechanic (M/F), light vehicles (M/F), to join the workshop in Vallouise. The workshop offers varied work on light vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and construction equipment.

Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on light vehicles: oil changes, brakes, tires, seasonal summer/winter changes, timing belts, clutches, etc.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
- Carry out repairs and restore vehicles to working condition.
- Monitor the light-vehicle fleet and anticipate required maintenance work.
- Prepare vehicles for roadworthiness inspections.
- Independently manage the maintenance and repair needs of the light-vehicle fleet.
- Keep your workspace and equipment in good condition.
- Occasionally help maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles and construction equipment, according to the workshop’s needs.
Requirements
- Experience in light-vehicle mechanics is required.
- Good automotive mechanics skills.
- Ability to work independently and in an organized manner.
- Knowledge of heavy goods vehicles, public works equipment or construction machinery would be an asset.
- A category B driving licence is required.
