Mobile Construction Equipment Mechanic

Are you looking for a role combining mechanics, travel between client sites and independent customer relations? Supplay Rennes Tertiaire & Cadres is looking for a Mobile Construction Equipment Technician/Mechanic for one of its clients, working with clients located between Nantes and St Nazaire.

Our client specializes in renting new and used equipment from multiple brands for material handling, elevation, mobility and cleaning. To support the continued development of its business, we are looking for a future team member who will ensure high-quality, long-term local service.

Your assigned office is in Bruz, if needed, and you will manage client sites between Nantes and St Nazaire with complete autonomy.

Responsibilities

There is no on-call duty for this position. You will be the point of reference for a maximum of 3 to 5 client sites in the area.

• Serve as the main point of contact for the client and their teams on site, while representing the company.
• Ensure client satisfaction and the availability of operational machines.
• Diagnose breakdowns.
• Repair equipment.
• Ensure regular machine maintenance.
• Order spare parts from the subsidiary.
• Replace defective equipment parts.
• Anticipate the client's needs on site.
• Act as an intermediary between the client and the technical and sales teams to implement additional solutions or services.
• Maintain the equipment fleet at an optimal maintenance level to extend the service life of the equipment, its parts and accessories.

Requirements

• Confirmed experience in mechanics is required.
• The ability to diagnose and analyze the cause of a breakdown, as well as determine the solution, comes naturally to you.
• Your interpersonal skills make you a trusted partner.

Benefits

• Contract: permanent (CDI).
• Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
• Compensation: based on profile. Between 26k€ and 35k€ gross fixed annual salary, excluding benefits.
• Benefits: attendance bonus equivalent to a 13th month; meal vouchers worth 13.50€/working day; CSE.
• Equipment provided: company vehicle (utility truck) and phone.
• Training and onboarding provided in a paired role.
