Job Description
As a Workshop Mechanic specializing in machining, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical workshop equipment, diagnosing breakdowns, disassembling and repairing mechanical assemblies, and performing machining operations on conventional machines (lathe, milling machine, drill, etc.). You will fabricate or restore mechanical parts per plans or sketches, perform adjustments and dimensional checks, and handle welding and mechanical touch-ups as needed. The role requires use of measuring tools and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Candidates should have mechanical training (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent), experience in industrial mechanics or workshop maintenance, and mastery of conventional machining including plan reading, tolerances, and adjustments. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding is a plus.
