Job Opportunity: Truck and Equipment Mechanic (M/F)
Join our team in Caen la Mer, where you will maintain and repair heavy trucks, public works equipment, urban cleaning machines, and agricultural machinery either at our workshop or directly on various community sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose malfunctions and identify faulty parts.
- Manage parts pre-ordering.
- Help organize and maintain the workshop environment.
Requirements:
- CAP / BEP or BAC Pro in maintenance for heavy vehicles/agricultural/public works equipment or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid mechanical knowledge and repair skills, familiarity with evolving technologies.
- Rigorous, organized, methodical, and good communication skills.
- Driving licenses B required, C/E preferred.
Working Conditions:
- May involve evening, weekend, and holiday shifts depending on urgency and weather conditions.
- Possible on-call duties.
- Work involves handling heavy loads and exposure to dusty, noisy, and odorous environments.
