You will play a key role in maintaining and repairing ship mechanical systems both onboard and in the workshop. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical systems on ships
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (cleaning, greasing, adjusting)
  • Replace and repair defective mechanical parts
  • Test and adjust mechanical systems
  • Work on Diesel engines and propeller shafts
  • Supervise a small team and ensure quality control
  • Enforce safety regulations onboard and in workshops

Profile

  • Technical training in naval mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans
  • Knowledge of ship safety standards
  • Team spirit with ability to work autonomously
