Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems onboard and in the workshop.
• Perform preventive maintenance like cleaning, greasing, and adjustments.
• Replace or repair defective mechanical parts.
• Conduct testing and adjustments of mechanical systems.
• Work on shaft lines and DIESEL engines (assembly/disassembly).
• Overhaul various pumps (water, oil, fuel).
• Diagnose wear and mechanical failures.
• Supervise and mentor a small team.
• Ensure safety rules are followed both onboard and in workshop.

Profile:

• Technical training in naval mechanics or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans.
• Knowledge of onboard safety standards.
• Team spirit and ability to work autonomously.
