Naval Mechanic M/F

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems onboard and in the workshop
• Perform preventive maintenance such as cleaning, greasing, and adjustments
• Replace or repair defective mechanical parts
• Test and adjust mechanical systems
• Work on shaft lines and DIESEL engines including assembly/disassembly
• Service various pumps (water, oil, fuel)
• Diagnose wear and mechanical failures
• Supervise a small team and ensure quality control
• Share your expertise and ensure safety compliance onboard and in the workshop

Profile sought:

• Technical training in naval mechanics or equivalent agricultural experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans
• Knowledge of safety standards aboard ships
• Team spirit and ability to work autonomously
