Job Opportunity: Motorized Garden Equipment Mechanic (F/M)

Join the Parc Matériel service dedicated to managing, maintaining, and servicing the automotive and rolling equipment fleet of Caen la Mer urban community, Caen city, and CCAS. Work in our mechanical workshop focusing on agricultural and garden machinery maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain agricultural, garden, and small equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and electric bikes.
• Repair diesel, petrol (2 or 4-stroke), and electric motor systems.
• Service ride-on and towed mowers, tractors, trailers, soil prep equipment, scooters, and 2-stroke portable tools.
• Manage hydraulic, hydrostatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Perform small welding and sharpening tasks.
• Diagnose faults and test vehicles safely.
• Occasionally work on urban cleaning and road maintenance machines.
• Handle equipment distribution and workshop organization.

Candidate Profile:

• Holder of a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in automobile repair, garden equipment, agricultural machinery, or public works, or with significant professional experience.
• Strong mechanical and repair knowledge with familiarity with engine injection, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Rigorous, organized, methodical, with excellent communication skills.
• Driving licenses B and C required; E license desired.
