Job Opportunity: Motor Cultivation Mechanic (M/F)
Join the Parc Matériel service responsible for managing and maintaining Caen's urban community vehicle and rolling stock fleet. You will perform maintenance and repair work on agricultural and motorized equipment including lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, electric bikes, tractors, and more. You will diagnose and repair diesel, petrol, and electric engines, work with hydraulic and mechanical systems, and occasionally assist with urban cleaning machinery. This role requires good technical knowledge, attention to safety, and skills in vehicle troubleshooting and small welding. Must have a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in automotive repair, motor cultivation, agricultural machinery, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair agricultural and motorized equipment
- Diagnose system failures and perform tests
- Small welding and sharpening tasks
- Organize and maintain workshop and tool distribution
Profile:
- Holder of a technical territorial adjoint grade or equivalent recruitment
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro or significant professional experience
- Solid mechanical knowledge and adherence to safety standards
- Valid driving licenses B and C required, E license preferred
