The Mechanical Worker is a rank-and-file military personnel responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment at an air base. Working within a technical or logistic unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers, they handle a broad range of equipment including airport vehicles, aircraft stopping systems, generators, and associated mechanical devices. Their mission is to ensure the availability, reliability, and safety of the technical means essential for air operations. Enjoy equal pay for equal work, 45 days of leave annually, substantial discounts with SNCF (up to 75% for you and 50% for your family), and free housing on base for new recruits or housing assistance for those living off-base.
