Job Description
The Mechanical Worker is a rank-and-file soldier responsible for implementing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment at an airbase. Operating within a technical or logistical unit under the supervision of technicians or non-commissioned officers, you will work with a broad range of equipment: airport vehicles, aircraft braking systems, generators, and associated mechanical gear. Your mission is to ensure the availability, reliability, and safety of the essential technical resources for air operations. Enjoy equal pay regardless of gender at comparable posts and levels, 45 days of leave per year, preferential SNCF rates up to 75% off for you and 50% off for your family, plus free accommodation on base for new recruits or housing assistance off-base.
