About the Job
Join RAS Interim, a network of 190 local agencies across the country, as a Mechanical Equipment Technician based in Sorgues (84). In this role, you'll be responsible for the reception, inspection, and preparation of lifting and public works machinery to ensure their functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect lifting and public works machinery
- Conduct basic visual and functional checks
- Perform routine maintenance such as simple oil changes, lubrication, and machine cleaning
- Refuel equipment and recharge electric units
- Prepare equipment for dispatch
- Report anomalies to mechanics
- Collaborate with the mechanical workshop with the possibility to evolve into more technical roles
- Comply with safety rules and internal procedures
Candidate Profile
- Must have a B driver's license
- Hands-on, autonomous, and enjoys manual work
- Interested in mechanics, with potential to evolve into a full mechanic role
- Preferably holds CACES R489 and/or R486 certifications
- Additional safety certificates are a plus
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Teamwork skills to work effectively with mechanics and workshop staff
