Mechanic (M/F)

Job Description

As a Mechanic under the supervision of the pole manager at Régie, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14 garbage trucks (BOM). Collaborate internally with management, administrative services, supervisors, collection agents, and bin washers, as well as externally with parts suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain mechanical equipment and ensure sufficient vehicles for operations
• Conduct first-level maintenance and mechanical follow-ups
• Schedule and execute mechanical interventions
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns
• Manage stocks and ordering of spare parts
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Participate in vehicle fleet renewal and organizational improvements

Candidate Profile:

• Holder of a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro specializing in heavy truck and public works repair
• Strong skills in hydraulic mechanics and electricity
• Rigorous, organized, methodical with effective communication skills
• Required licenses: Driving license B & C, valid FIMO and FCO
• Willingness to work in demanding environments: dusty, noisy, manual handling, possible travel and on-call duties
