Job Overview
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14 garbage trucks under the supervision of the pole manager. You will coordinate internally with your hierarchy and various teams, and externally with suppliers and subcontractors. Key duties include performing mechanical maintenance, planning interventions, managing parts inventory, and ensuring trucks are operational for daily routes. Candidates must have professional experience in heavy vehicle repair, strong skills in hydraulic mechanics and electricity, and possess required driving licenses (B, C) along with FIMO and FCO certifications.
Requirements
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair and significant experience
- Knowledge in hydraulic mechanics and electricity
- Rigorous, organized, and methodical personality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to work in physically demanding, noisy, and dusty conditions
- Participation in winter maintenance and availability for on-call duties
