Mechanic (M/F)

Job Description

As a Mechanic under the authority of the Division Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 14 garbage trucks (BOM). You'll collaborate closely with internal teams such as management, administrative services, and collection agents, as well as external suppliers and service providers.

Your Mission:

• Ensure the good condition of the vehicle fleet and guarantee sufficient vehicles for daily operations.
• Conduct routine maintenance and first-level mechanical works.
• Plan, monitor mechanical interventions, and manage external contractors.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns methodically.
• Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers.
• Participate in fleet management and renewal decisions.

Candidate Profile:

• Holder of a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair with significant experience.
• Solid knowledge of hydraulic mechanics and electricity.
• Adept in safety, organized, methodical with good communication skills.
• Required licenses: Category B and C driving license, valid FIMO and FCO certifications.
• Availability for occasional on-call duties and winter road maintenance.
