Job Opportunity: Mechanic (M/F)
Join CAEN LA MER|CU CAEN LA MER as a Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 14 refuse collection trucks. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all vehicles are operational and meet safety standards. Ideal candidates hold a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro focused on heavy vehicle and public works repair, with strong skills in hydraulic mechanics and electricity. Valid B and C driving licenses, plus up-to-date FIMO and FCO, are required. This role demands rigor, organization, and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-line maintenance and repairs
- Plan and execute mechanical interventions
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers
- Ensure vehicle fleet readiness for daily operations
Work Environment:
- Handling of heavy loads in a noisy, dusty, and odorous setting
- Possible off-site assignments and winter service duties
