Job Overview
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 14 garbage trucks under the supervision of the pole manager. You will coordinate internally with management and collection teams, as well as externally with parts suppliers and service providers. Your mission includes preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, managing external contractors, and parts inventory management.
Candidate Profile
You should hold a technical diploma (CAP/BEP or BAC Pro) focused on heavy vehicle repair and have solid experience in the field. Strong knowledge of hydraulic mechanics and electricity is required. You must respect safety standards, be organized, methodical, and able to communicate effectively. A valid B and C driving license, as well as up-to-date FIMO and FCO certifications, are required.
Work Environment
The position involves working in a dusty, noisy, and sometimes odorous environment with heavy lifting. You must also be available for on-call duties and winter service activities. Occasional travel for off-site work is expected.
