Job Opportunity: Mechanic (M/F)
Join our team at CAEN LA MER as a Mechanic responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14 refuse collection trucks. Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure operational excellence. Ideal candidates hold CAP/BEP or BAC Pro qualifications in heavy vehicle repair with solid experience in hydraulic mechanics and electricity. You will be organized, rigorous, and team-oriented with required licenses B and C plus FIMO and FCO certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first-line maintenance and repair
- Schedule mechanical interventions
- Manage stock of spare parts
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness
Work Environment:
- Handling heavy loads
- Sometimes dusty, noisy, and odorous conditions
- On-call and winter service participation
- Possible off-site repair tasks
