Job Opportunity: Mechanic (M/F) at CAEN LA MER
Join our team as a Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 14 garbage trucks. You'll work closely with both internal teams—hierarchy, administrative services, supervisors, collection agents—and external partners like parts suppliers and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper maintenance and timely repairs
- Plan and execute mechanical interventions
- Manage parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers
- Oversee vehicle fleet condition for efficient operations
Qualifications:
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro with a focus on heavy vehicle repair and construction machinery
- Significant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of hydraulic mechanics and electricity
- Valid B and C driver's licenses, updated FIMO and FCO
Work Conditions:
- Be organized, rigorous, and communicative
- Handle physical work in sometimes dusty, noisy, and odorous environments
- Possible travel for off-site work
- Participation in winter road maintenance
