Mechanic (M/F)

Role Overview

Under the supervision of the department head at Régie, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14 refuse collection trucks. You will coordinate internally with your hierarchy, administrative services, supervisors, collection agents, and bin washers, and externally with parts suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Manage mechanical interventions planning and execution.
• Investigate and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Coordinate with external service providers and suppliers.
• Manage parts inventory, orders, and deliveries.
• Participate in vehicle fleet renewal and organizational strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro with specialization in heavy vehicle and construction machinery repair.
• Experienced in hydraulic mechanics and electrical systems.
• Holds Category B and C driving licenses, with updated FIMO and FCO certifications.
• Rigorous, organized, methodical, and able to communicate effectively.
• Willing to participate in on-call duties and winter road maintenance.
• Able to work in noisy, dusty, and heavy-load environments.
