Job Overview
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 14 refuse trucks under the supervision of the Regie manager. You will coordinate internally with management, administrative services, and operational teams, and externally with suppliers and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-level maintenance and mechanical follow-ups
- Schedule and ensure repair interventions
- Diagnose and methodically resolve mechanical failures
- Manage external service providers
- Maintain inventory and ordering of spare parts
- Oversee vehicle fleet condition and contribute to renewal decisions
Candidate Profile
- Holder of technical grades for territorial technical assistants (or direct recruitment possible)
- CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair with significant experience
- Strong knowledge in hydraulics and electricity
- Holder of driving licenses B and C, with FIMO and FCO certifications up to date
- Rigorous, organized, methodical, and good communication skills
- Willingness to work in demanding conditions including heavy load handling and noisy environments
