Job Description
Under the supervision of the Pole Manager of the Public Works Department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 14 garbage trucks. Your role involves internal coordination with hierarchy, administration, supervisors, collection agents, and bin washers, as well as external relations with parts suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers. Key responsibilities include mechanical maintenance, planning interventions, diagnosing and repairing breakdowns, managing external contractors, and overseeing inventory and vehicle fleet management. The ideal candidate holds a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair with significant experience, strong knowledge in hydraulic mechanics and electricity, and holds B and C driving licenses along with valid FIMO and FCO certifications. Be ready for duty shifts, winter service participation, and possible off-site work in challenging environments.
