Job Opportunity: Mechanic for Heavy Vehicles and Equipment (M/F)
Join the Parc Matériel service responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the vehicle and rolling equipment fleet for the urban community of Caen la Mer, the city of Caen, and the CCAS. Under the team leader's authority, you will carry out repairs on heavy trucks, agricultural machinery, public works equipment, and urban cleaning vehicles. Your work will involve diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as managing defective parts orders.
Qualifications: A CAP, BEP, or BAC Pro in repair (heavy vehicles, agricultural, or public works machinery) or relevant experience. Strong mechanical knowledge, repair techniques, and adherence to evolving technologies (engine injection, hydraulics, electricity). Rigorous, organized, and methodical with good communication skills. Driving license B required; C/E license preferred.
