You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles, construction equipment, urban cleaning machinery, and agricultural equipment at the workshop located at La Cotonnière or directly on sites within the Caen la Mer Urban Community. Your tasks include diagnosing faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, ordering defective parts, and helping organize and maintain the workshop.
Candidate Profile
You should hold a technical territorial assistant grade (or qualify for direct recruitment) with a CAP / BEP or BAC Pro related to repairs, heavy vehicles, agricultural or public works equipment, or equivalent professional experience. Strong mechanical knowledge, repair techniques, and adherence to safety standards are essential. A valid category B driver's license is required; C/E licenses are a plus.
Working Conditions
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is necessary, especially during emergencies such as storms or floods. Responsibilities also include on-call duties and participation in winter service operations. The job involves handling loads over 20kg and working in dusty, noisy, and odorous environments.
