Job Overview
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14 garbage trucks, ensuring all vehicles are operational for daily routes. You'll coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers, manage stock of spare parts, and oversee maintenance schedules. The role requires mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical expertise, plus strong organizational and communication skills. A valid driving license (B and C) with FIMO and FCO certification is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-line maintenance and mechanical follow-up
- Schedule and execute maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and manage breakdowns
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage stock and inventory
- Participate in fleet renewal and organization
Candidate Profile
You hold a CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair, with significant relevant experience. Safety, rigor, and methodical work habits are required. The job involves physical tasks and working in challenging environments.
