Join Our Team as a Mechanic – Maintain and Repair a Fleet of Garbage Trucks!
Under the supervision of the fleet manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of 14 refuse collection trucks. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure fleet readiness and operational efficiency. Tasks include routine maintenance, diagnosing and fixing issues, managing parts inventory, and coordinating with subcontractors. Candidates must hold relevant certifications (CAP/BEP or BAC Pro in heavy vehicle repair) and possess strong hydraulic and electrical mechanical skills. A driving license B & C, along with FIMO and FCO training, are required.
Work Environment:
- Handling heavy loads
- Working in dusty, noisy, and odorous conditions
- On-call duty as needed
- Possible travel for off-site repairs
