Job Description
As a Maritime Chief Mechanic on board, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining vessel installations, including propulsion engines and general ship maintenance. You will manage stock on board and perform daily safety rounds with the captain. Additionally, when possible, you will assist in passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship upkeep during the June to August season. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant.
Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) and have prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Officer.
