Job Description

Maritime Chief Mechanic (M/F)

As an onboard Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining shipboard installations. You will organize and perform routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general upkeep. You will also manage ship inventory and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When possible, you will assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship maintenance.

Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant, from June to late August.

Requirements:

  • Valid Chief Mechanic license (750kW, 3000kW, or higher).
  • Prior experience as a Greaser Seaman, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
