Job Description
As a Maritime Chief Mechanic onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the ship's installations. You'll organize and carry out routine maintenance of propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general upkeep. You'll manage ship inventory and conduct daily safety rounds with the captain. When possible, you'll assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship maintenance. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) with prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
