Job Description
Position: Maritime Chief Mechanic (M/F)
As the onboard Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the ship's equipment. Duties include routine engine maintenance, managing ship apparatus, stock management, and daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. You will also assist in passenger safety, ship maneuvers, and general upkeep when possible. This seasonal position is based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August.
Requirements: Valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher) with prior experience as an Oiler, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
