Job Description
As a Maritime Chief Mechanic onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the vessel's installations. You will organize and carry out routine maintenance of propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general upkeep. Additionally, you manage ship stock and conduct daily safety rounds with the captain. When possible, you will assist with passenger reception, safety, deck maneuvers, and vessel maintenance. This seasonal role is based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to late August. Ideal candidates hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) and have prior experience in roles such as Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
