Job Description
As a Maritime Chief Mechanic onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all shipboard installations. You will organize and perform routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general ship maintenance. You will manage ship stock and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When possible, you will assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship upkeep. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, La Forêt Fouesnant from June to end of August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher) and have prior experience as Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
