Job Description
As a Maritime Chief Mechanic, you will be in charge of operating and maintaining the ship's onboard installations. Your responsibilities include organizing and performing routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general ship upkeep. You will also manage onboard inventory and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. Additionally, when possible, you will assist with passenger safety, deck operations, and ship maintenance. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher) and have prior experience as a Greaser, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
