Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining onboard installations, including propulsion engines and ship equipment. You will organize routine maintenance, manage ship stocks, and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When possible, you will assist with passenger safety and ship maneuvers. This seasonal position is based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher) and preferably have prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
