Job Description

Marine Chief Mechanic (M/F)

As a Marine Chief Mechanic on board, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining ship installations. You'll organize and perform routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general maintenance. You'll manage ship inventory and conduct daily safety rounds in collaboration with the captain. When possible, you'll also assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and vessel upkeep. Positions available in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to late August.

Requirements:

  • Valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher)
  • Previous experience as a Greaser Seaman, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
