Job Description

As a Marine Chief Mechanic onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the ship's equipment. You'll organize and perform routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship apparatus, and general onboard upkeep. Additionally, you will manage the ship's inventory and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When possible, you will also assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship maintenance. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to late August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) and have prior experience as an Oiler, Mechanical Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
