Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic (M/F), you will oversee the operation and maintenance of onboard installations. You will organize and carry out routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship fittings, and general ship upkeep. You will manage the ship's inventory and conduct daily safety rounds in collaboration with the captain. When machine duties allow, you will also assist in passenger welcome and safety, as well as deck maneuvers and ship maintenance. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and Forêt Fouesnant from June to late August. Candidates must hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) and possess prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
