Job Description
Position: Marine Chief Mechanic (M/F)
As an onboard Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all onboard installations. Your duties include regular maintenance of propulsion engines, ship apparatus, and general maintenance. You will manage ship inventory and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When possible, you will assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship upkeep. Positions available June to August based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant.
Requirements:
- Valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher)
- Previous experience as oiler, mechanic worker, chief or machine lieutenant
