Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the vessel’s machinery, including propulsion engines and general onboard equipment. Your duties include organizing routine maintenance, managing ship's inventory, performing daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain, and assisting with passenger safety and deck operations when possible. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant for the summer season from June to the end of August. Candidates should hold a valid Chief Mechanic license (750kW to 3000kW or higher) with prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
