Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic onboard, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the ship's installations. You will organize and perform routine maintenance on propulsion engines, ship equipment, and general onboard upkeep. You will also manage ship stock and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. When machine tasks permit, you will assist with passenger safety, welcome, and ship maneuvers. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt-Fouesnant from June to the end of August. Ideal candidates hold a valid Chief Mechanic license (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) and have prior experience as a greaser sailor, mechanic worker, chief, or machine lieutenant.
