Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining onboard installations, including propulsion engines and general ship maintenance. You will organize routine engine maintenance, manage ship stock, and ensure daily safety rounds in cooperation with the captain. When possible, you will also assist with passenger safety, deck maneuvers, and ship upkeep. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August. Ideal candidates hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW to 3000kW or higher) and have prior experience as a Greaser, Mechanic Worker, Chief, or Machine Lieutenant.
