Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining onboard installations, including propulsion engines and general ship maintenance. You will manage ship stock and conduct daily safety rounds in coordination with the captain. Additionally, you will assist with passenger safety and ship maneuvers when possible. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August. Required qualifications include a valid Chief Mechanic Certificate (750kW, 3000kW, or higher) and prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
