Job Description
As a Marine Chief Mechanic, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of on-board machinery, including propulsion engines and ship equipment. You'll organize routine maintenance, manage ship stock, and perform daily safety rounds alongside the captain. When possible, you'll also assist with passenger safety and deck maneuvers. Positions are based in Bénodet, Concarneau, and La Forêt Fouesnant from June to the end of August. Ideal candidates hold a valid Chief Mechanic certificate (750kW, 3000kW or higher) and have prior experience as a Greaser Sailor, Mechanic Worker, Chief or Machine Lieutenant.
